32nd Avenue W Crossing Open to Traffic

ByTara Ekren /

As winter settles in and the construction season wraps up, a major thoroughfare in West Fargo is again open. Red River Valley Alliance announces the 32nd Avenue W crossing will be opening to traffic across the stormwater diversion channel portion of the FM Area Diversion project today, December 2. The crossing is approximately a quarter mile west of the Sheyenne Diversion on 32nd Avenue W.

With the opening of 32nd Avenue, 40th Avenue W will permanently close west of 15th Street W.

South of this crossing, 52nd Avenue W will remain closed until next spring and traffic will be detoured south to County Road 6 (76th Avenue South).

Work on the 32nd Avenue W crossing and roadway was completed by ASN Constructors and subcontractor R.J. Zavoral and Sons, Inc.
