Beginning Monday, August 26, 2024, the left lane of the westbound bypass will be reduced to a width of 14 feet. The westbound bypass begins at Exit 342 in West Fargo. This lane width reduction will be in effect through August 27. Speeds on the bypass are reduced to 55 miles per hour.

Currently, the right lane of the westbound bypass is closed to traffic. Both lanes are expected to open to traffic by mid-September.

Single lane closures in the eastbound bypass lanes will continue through October 31, 2024, to accommodate bridge construction. After this date, both lanes of the eastbound bypass will open to traffic.

Both westbound and eastbound bypasses will be in use until the bridge construction is complete, expected in late 2025.

This work is part of the FM Area Diversion project’s Interstate 94 crossings. For more information about the FM Area Diversion project, visit www.fmdiversion.gov.
