Lane closure on eastbound Interstate 94

ByTara Ekren /

As the construction season gears up, a lane closure is needed on the eastbound Interstate 94 bypass lane to continue construction of the bridges crossing the stormwater diversion channel, a portion of the FM Area Diversion project.

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, traffic will be directed to utilize the eastbound outside lane, and the eastbound inside lane will be closed. This closure is located east of Exit 340 and will be less than one mile long. This closure will be in place through October 2025, when the newly constructed eastbound bridge is expected to open.

Speed will be reduced in the project area for the safety of construction crews and motorists. Please be aware of the construction, follow traffic signs and drive safely.
