Temporary Lane Closure – County Road 20 Bridge

ByTara Ekren /

A temporary lane closure is planned for County Road 20 northwest of Fargo on the bridge across the stormwater diversion channel, located between 26th Street NW and County Road 13/166th Avenue SE.

This single lane closure will be in effect October 6 through October 10, 2025. Flaggers will be in place to coordinate traffic through the closure. Please be aware, these dates are weather dependent and could change due to weather impacts.

An additional two-day closure will be needed the week of October 13 to finalize the work.

This closure is necessary to repair the bridge barrier after a late summer lightning strike. The damage does not affect the safety or usability of the bridge.

Delays are expected as traffic will come to a stop to navigate through the lane closure. The public is asked to allow extra time and remain alert to changing conditions when driving through this construction zone.
