FARGO, N.D. – Construction of the FM Area Diversion will close a portion of 38th Street SE between 38th Street W and 166th Street W in West Fargo on September 30, 2024. The closure, which could last through Tuesday, October 1, 2024, is necessary to install a culvert across the existing roadway.

During work, motorists will need to use an alternate route around the work zone. While a detour route will not be set for this short duration closure, both 40th Street SE south of the work zone and I-94 north of the work zone will be available to travel around the closure. These east-west routes can be reached via 38th Street W, east of the work zone, and County Road 15, west of the work zone.
