FARGO, N.D. – Construction of the FM Area Diversion will permanently close a portion of County Road 31 east of Argusville between 24th Street SE and 23rd St SE and reroute traffic to the newly constructed County Road 4/31 which runs along the diversion channel.

Beginning November 15, 2023, motorists will be detoured to the newly constructed roadway.

Northbound CR-31 traffic will detour west on CR-4 for a mile and a half to reach the newly realigned roadway and proceed northeast until the road reconnects to the existing CR-31.

Southbound CR-31 traffic will follow the new alignment until 25th Street SE/CR-4 where traffic will go east for a mile and a half to reach the existing CR-31.

The routes will be clearly marked for motorists to follow.
