Working Together to Protect Our Future.
This community is our community.
Red River Valley Alliance was formed as a flood prevention initiative for the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area. We have a vision for the future which starts with the construction of a diversion outlet to prevent a repeat of catastrophic flood damages
RRVA is contracted for 30 years of operation and maintenance of the diversion channel after installation. We are here for the long haul as lasting fixtures and members of the FargoMoorhead-West Fargo area.

The History of RRVA
The Red River Valley Alliance (RRVA) is a consortium of developers charged with developing, designing, construction, operating and maintaining the Fargo Moorhead Area Diversion project. The lead members of the public-private partnership agreement include ACCIONA, Shikun & Binui USA and the North American Construction Group. The RRVA is responsible for the construction of the diversion channel and the necessary associated infrastructure including bridges, railway crossings and aqueducts, plus operation and maintenance for 30 years.
